Q. Who can attend Research Conclave?

A. Anybody from India or Abroad.


Q. What is the last date for registration?

A. 10th February 2019.


Q. What is the size of the poster?

A. The size of your poster should be 4x3 feet.


Q. Where to download the template for posters?

Q. Can we attend only workshops?

A. Yes, you can attend.

If one registers for any event then registration for other events will be free of cost:


Q. Can we register for multiple oral/poser/model presenations?

A. Yes!, but need to do multiple payments.

E.g. If you are registering for two posters or one poster and one oral presentation or one oral and one model or one poster and one model, you need to pay

For student registration: 200/- + 200/- = Rs. 400/-


Q. How many participants are allowed for registration of each model/poster?

A. Maximum three participants are allowed for each model/poster.

eg: Suppose for one model / poster there are 3 authors then you have to pay Rs 200 each participants i.e. 3 participants = 3 * 200/- = Rs. 600/-.


Q. Will accommodation be provided to participants?

A. Yes. Accommodation and bed rolls will be provided. Students will be accommodated hostels (boarding and Lodging will be provided).


Q. Will individual certificate be provided to each member of a group?

A. Certificates will be given to only the registered members of the group (External participants).


Q. When would I present my model / poster?

A. Final schedule for your presentation will be intimated through a mail.


Q. How to reach IIT Guwahati?

A. The Institute is located on the outskirts of the city of Guwahati and can be reached conveniently. It is around 20 km from the heart of the city and around 35 to 45 min. drive from the airport. To reach the IIT Guwahati campus from the airport, railway station or any other part of Guwahati city all modes of transport are available. If you are coming from Guwahati railway station, you can also take IIT Guwahati buses. Bus stoppage is near to Reserve Bank of India which is just 350 m from Guwahati railway station. Q. How do I register for poster/model/oral presentation?

A. You can refer: http://www.researchconclave.in/

Make sure for complete the registration, you have to submit abstract for particular event and don’t forget to note down the reference number at the end of registration!


Q. Do I have to carry any Photo Identity Card?

A. Yes, College ID-Card, Passport, Aadhar, Driving License, Voter card etc. is compulsory to all participants.


Q. Does registration fees includes food, accommodation and travel allowance?

A. No.


Q. Will there be any accommodation facilities?

A. Participants can avail accommodation facilities with nominal charges. Participants need to contact our hospitality team in advance since we have limited number of rooms. Participants need to bring photocopy valid nationality/ college ID and need to sign undertaking form before taking room for event.


Q. Where do I get additional information about the conference?

A. Updated program and speaker information will be posted on this website soon.


Q. What is the registration fees structure?

A. For student (without lunch): Rs. 200 per participant

For faculty/ academician: Rs. 2000 per person

Industrialist/delegate: Rs. 3000 per person


Q. Will everyone receive Participation Certificate?

A. Yes, all the participants of Research Conclave’19 will receive hard copy of Participation Certificate.


Q. Can participants on the same team attend different schools?

A. Yes, why not!


Q. Can I pay at the door?

A. No, it would be best to pay in advance.


Q. Is there any limit for the number of members in a team?

A. Members in a team should not be more than three.


Q. When shall I come to know about my acceptance?

A. Our team will contact you on you registered Email address, once your abstract gets selected.


Q. Is it necessary that all members from a team should be presented?

A. No, but the presenting author should be present.


Q. How can I put my poster on display?

A. Our team will supplies push-pins to put up your poster on display. You can get the push-pins when you enter the poster area.


Q. Do I have to present my poster for all three days?

A. No. We will provide schedule once we will short list final participants.


Q. What would be the judging criteria for oral as well as poster presentation?

A. After the final shortlisting of participation, we will provide all the details.
