Q. Who can attend Research Conclave?

A. Anybody from India or Abroad.

Q. Can we attend only workshops?

A. Yes, you can attend any of the mentioned events.

Q. Can we register for multiple oral/poser/model presentations?

A. Yes, but each registration will be separate from the others. Separate payments have to be made for different registrations.

Q. How many participants are allowed in a team for registration of each model/poster?

A. Maximum three participants are allowed for each model/poster in a team. You'll be able to add team members while registering for the event. Note – The total amount to be paid by the registering member will be decided as – (Number of Team Members) x Rs 200 (excluding GST and gateway charges).

Q. Will accommodation be provided to participants?

A. Yes. In campus accommodation will be provided to the participants. (Kindly refer to the accommodation section for more details.)

Q. Will individual certificate be provided to each member of a group?

A. Certificates will be given to only the participants who are registered as a team member.

Q. How to reach IIT Guwahati?

A. The Institute is located on the outskirts of the city of Guwahati on the northern banks of Brahmaputra. It is around 20 km from the heart of the city and is 45 minutes' drive from the airport. Different modes of transportation are available to reach the city from the airport or the railway station.

Participants coming through train can also take the IIT Guwahati buses that ply regularly from the Reserve Bank Campus just outside the Guwahati Railway Station. You can refer to the bus timetable on -http://www.iitg.ac.in/aa/pages/campusmap/files/bus-timings-2010.pdf

Q. Do I have to carry any Photo Identity Card?

A. Yes. Presenting the identity card of the institute that you are enrolled in is mandatory during the event.

Q. Does the registration fee include food, accommodation and travel allowance?

A. No.

Q. Where do I get additional information about the conference?

A. Updated program and speaker information will be posted on this website soon.

Q. Can participants on the same team be from different institutes?

A. Yes.

Q. Is it necessary for all the members from a team to be present during the event?

A. No, but the presenting author should be there during the event.
