Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati welcomes you to the 8^th International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology - ICANN 2023, organized by the Centre for Nanotechnology, from 29^th November to 1^st December, 2023. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is located on the north bank of the mighty Brahmaputra river in Assam, India while the bank opposite to the Institute host a number of famous places of Assam that include the famous Kamakhya Temple (one of the Shakti shrines in the country), Umananda Temple (situated on a riverine island) and many more. The UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Kaziranga National Park, Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, Majuli Island are also well accessible from IIT Guwahati.

ICANN Conference Series

ICANN is a well-established conference series (1^st edition in 2009) for all researchers interested in nanoscience and nanotechnology. It is a major biennial international conference of the Country that is held in the North-Eastern region of India. It provides a common platform for eminent scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs, designers, policy makers, and young scholars from diverse disciplines across the globe to come together, discuss, and exchange ideas.

ICANN 2023 event will be an excellent opportunity for the scientific community to disseminate of their latest ideas, exchange them with other bright minds, and of course, to make new colleagues and collaborations through networking. The list of verticals that are thought to be covered by this conference series is rather wide that include healthcare, nano-materials, nanoelectronics, quantum technologies, environment, energy, computation, point-of-care devices and their design, packaging technologies, semiconductors, sensors, micro/nano fluidics, photonics, translational research, and start-up & entrepreneurship.
