All accommodation will be done in various hostels on a sharing basis.
Meals are not included in this charge. It will be available on pay & eat basis in the hostel's mess. Alternatively, you can eat from food stalls all over the campus or from hostel canteens.
Mattresses, bedsheets, pillow, pillow cover, blanket, bucket & mug will be provided.
You may be asked to deposit caution money of Rs. 200, which will be reimbursed on the last day only if there is no reported loss to the property of IIT Guwahati.
We suggest you bring your basic requirements (like toothbrush, lock, etc.) for your stay in IIT Guwahati.
On ground of suspicions, your luggage can be checked by authorities. Alcohol/ Drugs/ Smoking are strictly prohibited inside the campus.
