Japan-NER Bioeconomic Technology Cooperation Symposium 2024 (JNBTCS 2024) through industry-academia under JPD platform will be co-hosted by IIT Guwahati, India and Gifu University, Japan from March 3 to March 5, 2024 at IITG.

IITG, India and Gifu University, Japan launched International M. Tech and Ph.D. programs in 2019. The programs, called International Joint Degree Program in Food Science and Technology (M. Tech and Ph,D.), and that in Integrated Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D.), cover essential technical areas for accelerating bio economic development of NER. The symposium will deliver concept of how international collaborative education works for accelerate transition of society. Academic sessions will focus on the cutting edge of research in food supply chain sustainable technology, disaster management as well as biomass utilization in particular bamboo resources of NER. Industry session will promote the collaboration between Indian and Japanese companies.

Participation of academia, industry, government and financial organizations from India and Japan will be highly appreciated to have fruitful outcomes.
