Regarding the poster competition at Research conclave 2016

 

Poster Competition Guidelines

1.  Students has to reach by 9:00 a.m. to the conference hall and get registered their names in the event.
2. During registration, printed posters will be given to respective participants and they are directed to post their posters at respective department places allocated in the foyer of conference hall.
3. Later they can move to lecture series. The posters and models will be visited by students, judges, delegates from 12: 00 p.m.  to 1:30 p.m immediately after tea break.
4. Selected posters and models from every session will be sent to finals to be held on 20th march 2016 Sunday between 4:00 to 5:30 p.m, in the foyer of conference hall.

 

Lab Visit Guidelines

1. Regarding Lab visit the students are expected to stay with their respective experimental set-up and lab spaces. DPPC’s will be directing the guests, externals, other department students, delegates from departmental office in-between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
2. Please manage yourself with the help of your RSF’s or departmental volunteers. Please accumulate the visitors for every 15 minutes infront of department office and through volunteer direct them to respective labs as much as possible.

 

Guidelines

 

General guidelines

• The registration fee is Rs. 100/- per Team for Non - IITG students.

• There can be a maximum of 3 members in a group.

Judging will be based on:

• Research Problem
• Execution with problem
• Effective outcomes
• Last date for abstract submission is 10th March, 2016.

 

Notification of acceptance by 12th March, 2016.

 

Poster guidelines

• The size of your poster should be 4x3 feet.            Download Template

 

Abstract submission guidelines

• The maximum allowed size is 1 page, inclusive of references, tables and figures. The text should be formatted in A4 format (210 mm x 297 mm), with single spacing, font “Arial”, size “10” and page margins of “15 mm” on the left and right sides.  Download Template
• While submitting the Abstract please name your file as Name_Dept (e.g. saurav_design).
