Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) is one of the prestigious IITs in India, located on the bank of the mighty river Brahmaputra. Guwahati, the capital city of Assam as well as the gateway of North-Eastern states of India, is well connected by air, train and road with the rest of the country. There are frequent direct flights from/to New Delhi and Kolkata apart from being well connected with all major cities in the country. IIT Guwahati is equipped with a conference center with four lecture halls, an 1500 capacity auditorium, a 200 capacity mini-auditorium, four lecture halls each having capacity of 250 and several class rooms. All of these are equipped with state of the art audio-visual facilities.
